Export references from library databases into an EndNote Library.
How to Populate an EndNote Library
Library databases, Google Scholar, and other sources allow direct export of citations into an EndNote Library. Language can vary from database to database! Look for links or buttons to download, import references, export, or save.
For example, Compendex uses "Download." Google Scholar has a link to "Import into EndNote."
ProQuest, pictured below, uses "Export/Save."
Use EndNote to attach the full-text of articles to the citation record. Missouri S&T subscribes to a variety of full-text sources. Where we subscribe to the full-text, the file may be attached. The process is simple.
1) Export references from a database of choice into EndNote.
2) From within EndNote, select those records to attach a file.
3) Click on the "Find Full Text" button in the top tool bar. If you are within the S&T network, available articles will be automatically attached to the citation record.
