Accounting

Accounting Education is a peer-reviewed international journal devoted to publishing research-based papers on key aspects of accounting education and training of relevance to practitioners, academics, trainers, students and professional bodies, particularly papers dealing with the effectiveness of accounting education or training.

Issues in Accounting Education The mission is to publish research, commentaries, instructional resources, and book reviews that assist accounting faculty in teaching and that address important issues in accounting education. Issues of the journal consists of two major sections: Research and Commentary and Instructional Resources.

Journal of Accounting Education is a refereed journal dedicated to promoting and publishing research on accounting education issues and to improving the quality of accounting education worldwide. The Journal provides a vehicle for making results of empirical studies available to educators and for exchanging ideas, instructional resources, and best practices that help improve accounting education.

Arts

Arts and Humanities in Higher Education serves the community of arts and humanities educators internationally, by publishing significant opinion and research into contemporary issues of teaching and learning within the domain. These will include enquiries into policy, the curriculum and appropriate forms of assessment, as well as developments in method such as electronic modes of scholarship and course delivery.

International Journal of Education & the Arts serves as an open access platform for scholarly dialogue. Our commitment is to the highest forms of scholarship invested in the significance of the arts in education and the education within the arts. As editors, our personal goal is to create a communal space in which to incite productive dialogue revealing the potential of the arts within education through all forms of inquiry.

Journal of Cultural Research in Art Education is an annual online and open-access journal of the United States Society for Education through Art. jCRAE focuses on social and cultural research relevant for art and visual culture education, including cultural foundations of art education, cross-cultural and multicultural research in art education, and cultural aspects of art in education.

Review of Artistic Education This publication is intended as an opportunity for interdisciplinary approach opened to pedagogical, psychological, sociological and political analysis in the field of artistic and intercultural education.Our goal is to stimulate the production of knowledge in the field of artistic education and to enhance participation to the community of educational practice and research in Music, Drama, Choreography, Visual Arts, Artistic and Intercultural Education.

Biological Sciences

American Biology Teacher is an award-winning, peer-refereed professional journal designed to support the teaching of K-16 biology and life science. We solicit and feature articles relating to the content of biology, commentaries on the social and ethical implications of biology, biology teaching strategies appropriate to the classroom, laboratory and field sites, trends in biology teaching, and those that offer assistance in the professional development of biology and life science teachers.

Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education is an international journal aimed to enhance teacher preparation and student learning in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and related sciences such as Biophysics and Cell Biology, by promoting the world-wide dissemination of educational materials.

Bioscene: Journal of College Biology Teaching is a refereed quarterly publication of the Association of College and University Biology Educators (ACUBE). Submissions should reflect the interests of the membership of ACUBE

Biological Sciences (continued)

Journal of Microbiology and Biology Education publishes original, previously unpublished, peer-reviewed articles that foster scholarly teaching, and provide readily adoptable resources in biology education. JMBE welcomes thoughtful and supported submissions pertaining to scholarly teaching in undergraduate, graduate and professional (e.g., medical school) education, K-12 outreach, and informal education.

CBE--Life Sciences Education An online quarterly journal published by the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB). The Journal publishes original, previously unpublished, peer-reviewed articles on life science education at the K-12 outreach, undergraduate and graduate levels. A particular focus is on how students are introduced to the study of life sciences, as well as approaches in cell biology, developmental biology, neuroscience, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, and proteomics.

BioScience includes articles about research findings and techniques, advances in biology education, professionally written feature articles about the latest frontiers in biology, discussions of professional issues, book reviews, news about AIBS, a policy column (Washington Watch), and an education column (Eye on Education). Roundtables, forums, and viewpoint articles offer the perspectives of opinion leaders and invite further commentary.

Journal of Biological Education is firmly established as the authoritative voice in the world of biological education. The journal aims to bridge the gap between research and practice, providing information, ideas and opinion, in addition to critical examinations of advances in biology research and teaching. Through the coverage of policy and curriculum developments, the latest results of research into the teaching, learning and assessment of biology are brought to the fore.

Journal of Undergraduate Neuroscience Education  is an online journal for undergraduate neuroscience faculty that publishes peer-reviewed reports of innovations in undergraduate neuroscience education. JUNE serves as a mechanism for faculty to exchange information regarding topics such as laboratory exercises, new media, curricular considerations, and teaching methods.

Business Administration/Information

Business Education & Accreditation publishes high-quality articles in all areas of business education, curriculum, educational methods, educational administration, advances in educational technology and accreditation. Theoretical, empirical and applied manuscripts are welcome for publication consideration.

Business Education Forum is a professional journal, written by practitioners, for practitioners. Articles published in the Forum aim to interest teachers in the field of business education and improve learning for students by making teaching more effective and creative.

International Journal for Business Education The purpose is to provide international business educators with articles concerning current and/or future teaching strategies as they relate to business education, research-based articles on business education and technology ideas for business education. The focus can be from any area of business education including technology, communications, leadership, management, marketing, etc. that will be of interest to international business educators.

Journal for Global Business Education is a refereed publication of the United States chapter of the International Society for Business Education (ISBE). These chapters represent different countries that are engaged in education for international business. Submitted manuscripts should focus on international business and may include reviews of literature, research, teaching methodologies, and other appropriate options.

Journal of Business Ethics Education seeks to publish educational materials suitable for use in ethics courses or in other business courses where ethical issues are discussed. These include case studies, lecture articles for student use, articles and ethical analyzes for instructors, role-playing material, syllabi and curricula, and downloadable software or audio/visual material. There is a particular emphasis on approaches that encourage student participation as opposed to passive learning.

Journal of Education for Business features basic and applied research-based articles in entrepreneurship, accounting, communications, economics, finance, information systems, management, marketing, and other business disciplines. Articles report successful innovations in teaching and curriculum development at the college and postgraduate levels. Authors address changes in today’s business world and in the business professions that are fundamentally influencing the competencies that business graduates need.

Journal of Entrepreneurship Education publishes theoretical or empirical works in entrepreneurship education and training.

The Journal of Teaching in International Business instructs international business educators, curriculum developers, and institutions of higher education worldwide on methods and techniques for better teaching to ensure a global mindset and optimum, cost-effective learning in international business. This journal contains original, significant, scholarly, and applied articles that: say something meaningful to international business curriculum developers; use empirical data and analysis to show the effectiveness of various approaches to teaching international business; enrich and make more effective the classroom presentations of teachers of international business; facilitate research endeavors of international business consultants, researchers, business education foundations, and institutions of higher learning.

Chemistry

Chemical Educator, The A working journal, a reference to current topics, experiments, and teaching methodology. Its publication on the World-Wide Web allows for quick dissemination of material, timely information on current topics, and immediate access to supporting material.

Chemistry Education Research and Practice  is the journal for teachers, researchers and other practitioners at all levels of chemistry education. It is published free of charge, electronically, four times a year; coverage includes the following.
Research, and reviews of research, in chemistry education; evaluations of effective innovative practice in the teaching of chemistry; in-depth analyses of issues of direct relevance to chemistry education

Education in Chemistry Articles should be aimed at the practicing school or university chemistry teacher, or across the readership, and the educational value of any article should be clear.

The Journal of Chemical Education is the official journal of the Division of Chemical Education of the American Chemical Society, co-published with the American Chemical Society Publications Division. Launched in 1924, the Journal of Chemical Education is the world’s premier chemical education journal. The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles and related information as a resource to those in the field of chemical education and to those institutions that serve them. JCE typically addresses chemical content, activities, laboratory experiments, instructional methods, and pedagogies.

 

Chemical Engineering

Chemical Engineering Education Publishes papers in the broad field of chemical engineering education. Papers generally describe a course, a laboratory, a ChE department, a ChE educator, a ChE curriculum, research program, machine computation, special instructional programs, or give views and opinions on various topics of interest to the profession.

Computer Science

ACM Transactions of Computing Educations publishes high quality, peer-reviewed, archival papers in computing education. Papers published in TOCE take a scholarly approach to teaching and learning, establish a clear connection to student learning, and appeal to a broad audience interested in computing education: instructors, researchers, curriculum designers, and administrators.

Computer Science Education 

Computer Science Education aims to publish high-quality papers with a specific focus on teaching and learning within the computing discipline that are accessible and of interest to educators, researchers, and practitioners alike.Depending on their special interests, those working in the field may draw on subject areas as diverse as statistics, educational theory and the cognitive sciences in addition to technical computing knowledge.

Innovation in Teaching And Learning in Information and Computer Sciences  is a highly respected scholarly journal which offers an in-depth forum for the interchange of information in the fields of science, mathematics, and computer science. JCMST is the only periodical devoted specifically to using information technology in the teaching of mathematics and science. JCMST is the official journal of the the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE).

Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges contains the conference proceedings for each of the regional conferences sponsored by CCSC. It is distributed to around 600 faculty in over 350 colleges and universities. In addition to the print copies distributed at the regional conferences, the Journal is archived starting from Volume 16 (October 2000) in the ACM’s Digital Library
