About this Guide

The library guide on research data management is designed with the needs of Missouri University of Science and Technology faculty, students and staff in mind. Research data management is an evolving practice driven by  data management planning requirements of funding agencies and by thae advantages of greater access via the web. This guide attempts to provide researches with an understanding of research data management and to aid in the preparation of data management plans.


Nothing on this guide is to be construed as legal advice. These pages are intended to provide information and guidance in the application of copyright law and to expand on the University of Missouri System Collected Rules and Regulations.
