Install MS Word Plugin

Zotero Desktop uses the MS Word plugin to help cite as you write.

The plugin should be installed automatically when you download Zotero.

When installed the plugin will appear as below in Word:

You may have to restart Microsoft Word for the new installation to appear. You will also need to have Zotero Desktop opened and be logged in while using the plugin.

Choose a Citation Style

On Zotero Desktop:

Click "Edit" -> "Preferences" -> "Get additional styles..." to see and select all installed citation styles.

If you don't see the one you need, click "Get additional style..." You can search for the one you need for your work.
