Most hotels provide wireless or wired network connections. For wired connections, it may be helpful to carry an Ethernet cable (such as a Cat5e or Cat6) to ensure reliable internet connectivity. Regardless of connection type, accessing Missouri S&T library resources from off-campus locations works similarly to accessing them from campus, with the following key points to keep in mind:
Selecting any library database or electronic resource from off campus will prompt a Missouri S&T authentication page. Log in using your university username and password, the same credentials used for campus computers and university systems.
If login issues occur or if a password reset is needed, visit the Missouri S&T Password Management page. For immediate help with login or access issues while traveling, contact the IT Help Desk at 573-341-4357 or via email at ithelp@mst.edu.
For additional assistance or questions about library services, librarians are available remotely via email, chat, or phone.
To check library account information, students will need their Missouri S&T username and password. Log in by selecting My Library Account from the library homepage or using the login option in the upper right-hand corner of the library website. This allows viewing of checked-out materials, due dates, and enables renewing items from anywhere.
For assistance accessing accounts or questions about checked-out items, contact the Missouri S&T Library Circulation Desk at 573-341-4008 or by email at library@mst.edu.
