The University Libraries in partnership with the Wall Street Journal now offers sponsored access to Wall Street Journal content for all students, faculty and staff. This includes:

  • WSJ.com & WSJ app - Unlimited access to WSJ.com on desktop, tablet and mobile devices, including the WSJ mobile app, which features the MyWSJ personalization tool.
  • WSJ Curated Newsletters - Subscriber can choose from a diverse selection of daily and weekly email newsletters—featuring highlights, summaries and updates on top interests and sectors. Some great newsletters are “The 10-Point”, “Women In”, “Diversity + Business”, etc.
  • WSJ Videos -Tech, markets, arts and lifestyle coverage come to life along with daily news updates, opinions and analysis from top Journal editors.
  • WSJ Podcasts - WSJ’s diverse selection of podcasts provides essential news, analysis and engaging discussions with editors and notable influencers. “As We Work”, “The Journal”, and “Secrets of Wealthy Women” are just a few noteworthy podcasts.
     

Student Content and Resources

  • Future View - A forum that allows students to have their voice heard on timely and important topics. A selection of thoughtful opinions will be edited and published on the WSJ.com Opinion page.
  • Student Referral Program - Student subscribers can receive an exclusive WSJ T-shirt if they get five friends from school to redeem their school-sponsored subscription.
  • WSJ Graduation Journey - For graduating seniors, WSJ offers a discounted subscription for young professionals priced at $2 per month for the first year —a 95% discount on standard consumer rate. Students who take advantage of the offer will continue to get a discounted rate for the next 7 years.
  • WSJ Challenge Series - This series helps readers improve their personal approach to networking, investing, finance, fitness and wellness. Each challenge starts when you sign up, and continues with one email a week to your inbox—full of exercises and how-tos—for four to six weeks.

Accessing WSJ Content

If a student or faculty/staff subscriber has a personal WSJ subscription and would like to convert it to their School-Sponsored WSJ subscription, they will need to call 1-800-JOURNAL to cancel.
