Getting Help
We have several convenient ways to get help.
- Drop by the library between the hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday and ask for a librarian at our service desk.
- Use our Ask Us service.
- Send an email to library@mst.edu.
- Call us at (573) 341-4008.
- Make an appointment with you subject librarian by clicking the button on the right.
Borrowing Materials
Students can borrow or access over 1,011,000 titles from our local collections, which include both print and electronic books and journals, as well as research databases, video, and audio recordings. Additionally, through our interlibrary loan service you have access to the collections of all the University of Missouri libraries as well as libraries throughout the world.
Students can also borrow laptops, calculators, cameras, phone chargers, tools, extensions cords, and more. Need an umbrella on a rainy day? We have one. Need a table for an event, we have that, too.

Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) allows you to request items that are not freely available from our library, databases, or general internet sources. Through ILLiad you have access to the resources of thousands of libraries globally.
