Our academic librarians play a crucial role in supporting the teaching, learning, and research mission here at Missouri S&T. They are experts in information management, literacy, and research, providing resources and guidance to students, faculty, and staff. Their responsibilities extend beyond traditional library duties to include instruction, collaboration, and even contributing to scholarly publications.

Their roles include:

•  Acquiring, organizing, and managing library resources
• Ensuring access to information
• Maintaining and updating library collections
• Teaching information literacy skills
• Developing and delivering instructional sessions

• Consulting with students
