LibKey.io allows users to search for a DOI (digital object identifier) or PMID (PubMed ID) and find full-text articles available through Missouri S&T's library.
The first time you use LibKey.io you may need to select Missouri S&T as your organization to connect to our library.
Searching for a DOI or PMID will take you to the LibKey landing page. If the article is available for you to read, you may be given the option to either download the PDF or view the HTML version online. Some articles may not have a PDF download available but will still allow you to read the full text on the journal's page.
Below the links is a box you can check so LibKey will remember which option you prefer--PDF download or HTML view. For the next 24 hours, you will be taken directly to the article in that format without having to view the landing page.
If the article is not available, you will see a "Library Access Options" link. Clicking there will take you to a page where you can request that we get the article from another library for you through interlibrary loan.
LibKey.io may also be used as a prefix to any DOI or PMID to search for an article directly, without visiting the LibKey.io page. Just insert libkey.io/ in front of a DOI or PMID in a browser's search bar, and LibKey.io will look for the article.
